Mission Santa Clara de Asís

This church is one of the oldest of the original missions in California, dating back to 1777.
Located on the grounds of Santa Clara University, this mission’s story reveals much about
the history of California and of the Santa Clara Valley in particular.

provides an engaging, interactive way to learn about the history and current
state of silicon technology.

California's Great America

This combination amusement park and water park in Santa Clara has the most roller coasters
in Northern California.

The Tech Museum of Innovation

The Tech Museum of Innovation

This popular technology-oriented museum is located in downtown San Jose. It is known for its
many interactive exhibits and its IMAX theater.  Tens of thousands of California students visit
this museum on school field trips every year.

Winchester Mystery House

The Winchester Mystery House

This  160-room architectural attraction in San Jose was built by the heiress to the
Winchester Rifle fortune. It has many odd features that have never been explained,
as well as many exquisite features of high quality craftsmanship.

Stanford University

Stanford University

This leading university is approximately 15 miles north of Santa Clara. You can take a
walking tour of its beautiful campus, visit its art museums, and see the view from
the top of the Hoover Tower.

Only 45 minutes north of Santa Clara by car or train, San Francisco offers an enormous number
of attractions including museums, theaters, restaurants, concerts, comedy shows, walking

This premier destination is approximately 2 hours north of Santa Clara by car. It is famous for
beautiful views of rolling hills, top quality wines, mud baths, hot air balloon rides, and

Approximately 1 ½ hours south of Santa Clara (by car) is the Monterey Bay Aquarium,
where you can see a great white shark, jellyfish, otters, anemones, bat rays, and
much more.  It’s recommended that you buy tickets in advance.

Carmel by the Sea

This scenic city is approximately 1 ½ hours south of Santa Clara by car.  It has a gorgeous
